LS Institute offers online and in person Dutch language classes for expats of levels from A0 to B1, including adults and teenagers. My fun and interactive classes focus on conversation, while also incorporating grammar and vocabulary exercises. I believe that learning Dutch is essential to integrating into Dutch culture, and my goal is to help students feel comfortable speaking the language in everyday situations. Group classes
- Each course consist of 12 classes of 1,5 hour, which can be online or in person in Haarlem.
- I only work with small groups, so no more than 6 students.
- There will be a free intake before signing up.
- Total price: 342 euros.

Meet the founder
Hello! I am Lisanne, and I am the owner of LS Institute. I have been teaching languages for more than 10 years.
Originally from Leiden, I have called Amsterdam my home since I started my studies. I have always been interested in exploring new cultures and languages. In fact, during my holidays, I travelled extensively around the world. I speak Dutch, English, French, and Spanish.
My true passion is teaching, which is why I started LS Institute. I noticed that many expats in the Netherlands struggle with learning the Dutch language, often resorting to self-study apps like Duolingo. However, I believe that the most efficient way to learn a language is through regular practice with a native speaker.
My classes are structured, engaging, and always focused on current topics, so you’ll never feel bored. Learning a language should be fun and stress-free, and I strive to make my students feel comfortable and confident when speaking Dutch.
